The Arnold Arboretum has had a long association with its sister institution the Massachusetts Horticultural Society. However, it was during Donald Wyman's tenure as Horticulturist of the Arnold Arboretum, from 1935 to 1969, that the relationship florished. In addition to being a Trustee of the Society, Wyman also served on many of the Society's committees.
